Scalextric Sport track is a popular choice among slot car racing enthusiasts who want to build exciting and customisable racing circuits at home. Scalextric Sport track was launched in 2000 to make it easier to assemble a racing circuit. It is a 1:32 scale slot car track system, designed with a smoother, more durable surface and deeper slots. It features a flexible, sturdy, and improved push-fit connector system, making it faster and easier to assemble and disassemble. Used to build complex layouts, often using border and barrier kits for increased realism in corners. A further option is independent lane power, for more advanced racing setups.

Scalextric Sport track is compatible with Scalextric Digital systems, allowing for lane changing, multi-car racing, and pit lane accessories.

This current/modern Scalextric Sport track is often referred to as "new" track, as it has been the standard since 2000. For backward compatibility, it can be connected to the older "Classic" track system using special adapter pieces (code C8222)
