About Action Slot Racing
Welcome to Action Slot Racing, a small family-run business specialising in Scalextric cars, track, accessories, parts and layouts.
We are passionate about slot car racing and, more importantly, we understand Scalextric. Whether you're buying your first Scalextric set, returning to the hobby after many years, expanding an existing layout or searching for a particular vintage part, we're here to help.
We supply a wide range of Scalextric products, including modern Sport and Start track, Digital systems, ARC accessories, cars, controllers, powerbases, track accessories, parts and scenery. We also have extensive knowledge of older and vintage Scalextric systems, so we're happy to help when you're trying to identify older track, cars or components and work out what is compatible.
Scalextric Specialists
We can help you understand the differences between Scalextric Classic, Sport and Start track, as well as modern Digital systems and ARC accessories. If you're unsure whether a particular car will work with your track, whether you need a different powerbase or controller, or which track pieces you need to extend your layout, please get in touch.
We also understand that many customers are combining old and new Scalextric equipment. Our experience with vintage Scalextric means we can help identify older products and advise on how they can be used, restored or incorporated into a modern layout where appropriate.
Help With Scalextric Layouts
Building a Scalextric layout is one of the most enjoyable parts of the hobby, but working out which pieces you need can sometimes be confusing. We can help with track planning and layout advice, whether you're building a small circuit at home or working on a much larger layout.
If you have a particular space available, an existing collection of track or an idea for the type of circuit you'd like to build, contact us and we'll do our best to help you find a suitable solution.
New, Vintage and Pre-Owned Scalextric
Our interest in Scalextric extends beyond new products. We regularly deal with vintage and pre-owned Scalextric cars, track and accessories, and we understand that older equipment can have its own terminology, compatibility requirements and quirks.
We also buy Scalextric from the public. If you've inherited a collection, have an old Scalextric set that is no longer being used, or have cars and track that you'd like to sell, please get in touch with details of what you have.
More Than Just Scalextric
Although Scalextric is our speciality, we also stock products from other major slot car brands, including Carrera, Ninco, FLY, SCX and more.
Our aim is to provide customers with knowledgeable advice and building communities rather than simply selling a product. If you're unsure what you need, we'd rather help you find the right product than see you purchase something that isn't suitable for your track or system.
Our Service
We are a small, family-run company and we take pride in providing friendly, personal customer service. We don't operate a physical shop open to the public, but we serve customers throughout the UK and internationally through our online and mail-order service.
We don't offer telephone support, but we're always happy to help by email. Email allows us to give you a clear and considered answer. If photographs, product numbers or measurements would help us identify something, you can send those to us too.
