Track lap times, fuel usage, weather conditions & more with the ARC app. Can also be used without the smart device, if required.

App Functions
8 Racing Modes
Quick Race
This mode allows you to create several custom events of any type which can be accessed quickly in the future.
Practice
This is a non-competitive mode in which drivers try to achieve the best lap time over a number of set laps.
Grand prix
Competitive mode in which drivers race over a set number of laps.
Endurance
Competitive race mode in which drivers race for set amount of time.
Tournament
Competitive mode in which drivers race head-to-head over a set number of laps or for a set amount of time.
Drag Race
Competitive race mode in which drivers race on a long straight. The pit exit on the powerbase
represents the finish line and the drag strip can be as long as you want.
Arcade
Each racer acquires a “powerup” as they pass through the start/finish line which automatically applies to their opponent. This allows you to actively sabotage your opponent’s race by timing your "powerups" and reducing them to a crawl each time round.
Pace Car
Computer controlled car, so you can race against the computer
Lap Counting & Timing
See your current and remaining lap times
Tyre Wear
Add another dimension to your race by monitoring your tyre wear and choosing the right time to pit
Fuel Usage
When your car runs out of fuel pit stops will be required - miss the pits and risk disqualification
Jump Start Penalty
This allows you to define the number of seconds a jump-starting driver will be penalised
Race End Type
This defines when the race will end. Standard ends the race once every driver has crossed the line after the winner.
‘All finish’ will only end the race after each driver has completed the full race distance.
Qualifying
Determine your grid positions.
Start Type
Dead or Live. Live: Cars can roll before start lights go out. Dead: standing start.
Weather
Sun, rain or thunder! Throttles rumble for thunderstorm conditions.

Misuse of a transformer can cause electrical shock, and incorrect use of the product may result in hot surfaces. For safe operation, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Important Warnings
All Scalextric products and other items we sell are intended for indoor use only.
If the electric motor in a car becomes jammed, remove the car from the track and allow it to cool down before handling. Do not touch the motor casing immediately after use as it may be hot.
The transformer is not a toy. It is a transformer for toys and must be checked before use to ensure it matches your mains electricity supply voltage. For safety, only use the transformer supplied with the set or a recommended replacement from the manufacturer. Transformers should be inspected regularly for damage to the casing, plug pins, or cables. If damage is found, stop using the set until the transformer has been replaced.
Never attempt to open the transformer yourself.
Scalextric sets must not be connected to more than the recommended number of power supplies. The transformer output must not be connected directly or indirectly to another AC circuit derived from a mains power supply.
Always follow instructions and do not modify or alter any part of a set. For continued safety, use only genuine Scalextric spare parts and accessories.
Hand controllers may become warm, emit vapour, or produce a slight smell during use. This is normal due to protective coatings on internal components and usually disappears after use.
Before cleaning any part of the set, disconnect the transformer from the mains supply. Do not use liquid cleaners.
Repairing and Maintenance

When soldering components, work in a well-ventilated area and use a proper soldering iron stand. Be careful of hot soldering irons and molten solder to avoid burns.
After repairs, check wiring for short circuits before reconnecting power. Regularly inspect cars and track pieces for signs of wear or damage and replace worn parts when necessary.
Avoid overloading the track with excessive power and ensure all wiring is secure and properly insulated. Good ventilation for electronic components helps prevent overheating during use.
Do not run cars continuously for long periods without breaks, as this may cause overheating.
By following these safety tips, you can maintain and repair your Scalextric equipment while reducing the risk of injury or damage.
